Enquiries from ladies and gentlemen of all nationalities, aged 21 and over, who are interested in joining the Fan Makers’ Livery should be made either, to a Liveryman of the Company, or to the Clerk whose contact details are as follows:

The Company welcomes expressions of interest in joining the Livery. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the City and its heritage, looking to contribute to the social and charitable activities of theCompany. One of the strengths of the Fan Makers is the diversity of professions and backgrounds found in the membership.

Joining as a Freeman of the Company is how the majority of members enter Fan Makers.

For those wishing to progress within the Company the next step is to obtain the Freedom of the City of London, which is awarded at the Guildhall. Once the Freedom has been received, a Freeman is eligible become a Liveryman of the Company.

Entry is by interview with the Master and other members ofthe Court.

Enquiries regarding membership should be directed the Clerk who can provide more information on the process and introductions.

The annual subscription for Liveryman in 2023 is £430. Members are expected also to contribute to the charitable fund.
